Hi Tom,

Except for Ichikawa Jun, I've interpreted for all the directors on your 
list, and Nakata is indeed the only one who's been willing to do on-stage 
interviews in English.

As for other directors not requiring interpreting, Stephen already 
mentioned Harada Masato, and  there's also Kitamura Ryuhei. 
(And Kitano Takeshi tends to bring along his own interpreter)

Often it's not just a matter of English skills, but of confidence as well.
