I've found that http://cinema.intercritique.com/ seems to have romaji  
transliterations for all proper names. I can't tell how comprehensive  
their database is, but I've had good results in the past.

You can usually get there with one google search by looking for the  
name in kanji followed by "cinemascape" in the search string. If you  
want to translate from romanji to kanji, you can search for "NAME  
site:intercritique.com".
