My reply (below) bounced because I wasn't a subscriber at the time. Sorry to post it here, but the original mail called for reply to the list address. I will send my profile another time. Up to my neck editing this week.

Tim, I am a bilingual camera op / DP based in Japan about 26 years. I shoot and translate; however I do not "interpret" interviews.

I have full NTSC Beta-SP gear, though I assume you want PAL and possibly smaller format. I can rent HDV, DVCAM or HDCAM, depending on your needs and budget. Please see our Web site to get an idea of the style and quality of my work.

I am booked on December 17 and 18. Aside from those dates, mid-December is open at the moment.

Yours,

Michael Goldberg

Hi, I apologise for the slightly off topic discussion - but it's getting urgent.

I am trying to find one bilingual person to act as a translator and ideally camera operator (and or sound recordist) for a 2 day doco shoot in mid december 2007. I know it may be a big ask.

I am the go between between a small production company in Australia and any interested persons.

It's a paid job - pay to be negotiated with production company.

Please respond if you are interested and I will pass on your details.

Tim Stone
