Glory to the Director Award.....silence.

As Mark Schilling already anticipated in his short article (http:// 
www.varietyasiaonline.com/content/view/1943/53/), the prize "Glory to  
the Filmmaker!," has been conceived to award filmakers for their  
career achievement and innovation. Anyway, this prize has not been  
established  in honor of  Kitano, but just borrowed the "label" from  
the title of his last movie presented here this year.
The prize has been shortly announced during the press conference of  
Kantoku banzai and given during its official screening, but did not  
gain any coverage even on the Italian press. It simply happened...
