Aso boom?

This little tidbit from the Yomiuri and other news services:

With the announced resignation of Abe Shinzo as prime minister of 
Japan, stocks of companies involved in anime and manga all rose 
yesterday in anticipation of Aso Taro, former foreign minister who was 
a big promoter of anime and manga as an economic and foreign relations 
tool for Japan, will be the next prime minister.
