Cinema Babel

Like 'Japanese Cinema:Texts and Contexts', Markus Nornes' 'Cinema Babel is first available in paperback form in the UK on Amazon Marketplace (see correspondence on 'Four Books' thread).  By cancelling my original order and re-ordering on 'marketplace', it's duly arrived and I'm in the midst of a fascinating read.  I see it's available on Amazon.com and I've been able to buy a copy for someone on Amazon.jp
But will it ever be translated?  It certainly deserves to be but, in view of the content, would anyone else dare to ?
