It's a shame that apparently none of the new Japanese DVDs have  
subtitles (although there are teaser titles in French on the front of  
each). That would certainly help his work to reach a larger audience.

It would be nice if somebody in France could get rights to the new  
subs being prepared for this retrospective and put some DVDs out.  
I've heard that Philippe Jacquier, Yoshida's former producer in  
France, has moved into doing work on design and photography, so  
perhaps a company like Zootrope Films?
