Thanks for the concern, but I seem to have poor luck with publishers  
(witness the Page of Madness book!), but the story is that the BFI is  
basically farming out its publication division to Palgrave, which  
will also take over distribution of BFI books (from the Univ. of  
California Press) in the USA. The problem is that even though the  
book has been available on bookstore shelves in the UK since  
September, everything else seems to be in limbo (even though the UC  
Press has the book advertised on its site). I did complain and the  
BFI said they would send copies over to UC Press so that something  
would be sold in the USA, but that was a month ago. Now even  
Amazon.uk seems to list the book as currently unavailable.

Sigh....
