Shaggy Dog question

He wasn't a shaggy dog, but there was a famous Akita on CNN the other  
day. I was stuck in an airport watching Richard Gere on regular  
rotation, giving interviews on the set of his new film. The script  
made him cry, that cute dog coming to the station to meet his long  
lost master. Yes, they're remaking Hachiko.

CNN's angle was the Humane Society advisor making sure they're not  
abusing Hachiko; they didn't mention that it's originally a Japanese  
film.
