More on Japanese Noir at the San Sebastian Festival (was: Subtitles and noir)

But with 40 films showing, it shouldn't be hard to find two a day to see for a week that are worth watching.
San Sebastian sounds A-list and expensive. Is there someone who's been who can give the low-down?

Some of these seem to be stretching the definition of noir somewhat, by any standards. (ie Youth of the Beast)
I'd have thought Shinji Aoyama's An Obsession would have been a prime candidate however, especially in a program that's already showing Stray Dog.
