Yasukuni - Beijing

My regularly visited DVD stores in Beijing are now stocking surprisingly
large quantities of Yi Ling's documentary Yasukuni. I haven't done
much reconnaissance about the general attitudes towards the film in China (I
actually assumed it was a piece of anti-Japanese propaganda when I first saw
it), but I might take the time to look into it, given that most reviews so
far have focused on the Japanese response, and Chinese attitudes towards the
Japanese, and particularly Yasukuni are in general much more vitriolic, and
I'd be interested in seeing how this seemingly even-handed documentary
stands up.
Does anyone have any insight/interest in the film? I'm just delving into
reviews now.
