Sorry, I believe you have emailed the wrong person.

I sent an email about signing up for the mailing service, and this seems to be a response directed towards a specific question.

I do however, find this topic very interesting, and thank you for the email.

If you could please make sure I make it onto the mailing list I would appreciate it, and feel free to send me any further emails on Japanese Cultural Studies, either film-related or otherwise.

Best Regards,
Rob Buscher

(I'm forwarding this because Daniel had a problem with his KineJapan service--AG)

not so much coverage in the japanese press...although it's still possible it
will find a release sometime next year, as there is always a certain element
of curiosity in controversy (and thus market appeal).

the trailer put me off a bit; calling it "a cross between flipper and the
bourne identity" is a hyperbole--quite a bit of that footage has been
available online over the past two years (the surfers trying to intercept
the dolphin slaughter, for example).

i think that greenpeace japan has been much more constructive in their
campaigns, they even sponsor a website that respects the whale eating
generation: http://www.whalelove.org/en/wagon/story/story03
