Kinema Club X: at SCMS in Tokyo SURVEY LINK

Like so many people who have responded, I'd really really love to go.
Yet, we have a quarter system and still in the middle of teaching. When
the conference was "official," I and my three other colleagues can get
permission to cancel classes and participate in the conference. Now
that the "official" title is gone, I double I will be allowed to cancel
a whole week's class for an "unofficial" event.
Is there a list of talks and events somewhere with time specified. I'm
thinking if I can cut down on trip time and miss only two classes
(instead of four), that might work - although this would mean I'd have
to pay hefty itinerary change penalty.
Also, my presentation is not specifically on Japanese cinema, if the
unofficial event takes place under the aegis of KineJapan, would my
paper still be acceptable?
In the worse case scenario, if I end up not being able to go :-( , does
anybody know of some film related events from late June to early Aug.?
My visa is good until early Aug., and I'd really love to take advantage
of it and spend some fun time productively in Japan.
Thank you! Any suggestions and leads will be high appreciated.
