Dear all,
It's wonderful to see how so many people are privileging the
opportunity to share and discuss ideas!
One thing that you may want to consider as you approach/find venues:
I've heard that some universities, for instance the University of
Tokyo, are implementing similar '10 days of mask-wearing' policies for
anyone who may tread on campus grounds and has been in a country with
reported cases, whether for a planned international conference or not.
I don't know how widespread the adoption of such policies affecting
individuals is, or how they would be enforced, but it might be
something to keep in mind--and certainly to check--when choosing and
booking a venue.
Best wishes,
Sarah
PS. I wish that I could join you in Tokyo next week, but will be
running dissertation workshops in London, thanks to an academic year
that runs through July.
