Two questions regarding Masumura Yasuzo

Rosenbaum has some "work-in-progress" reflections on Masumura in the 
2003 "Movie
Mutations" (Rosenbaum and Martin, eds.).  I imagine these are close to 
what was
published in French.  I concur with Mathieu regarding the quality of the work
on Masumura here (it is after all admittedly incomplete), but the book also
contains a fairly interesting Q&A between Rosenbaum and Hasumi Shigehiko on
Masumura and Hawks where Hasumi responds to some of Rosenbaum's impressions
about Masumura.
