Any have a suggestion for a good translation of the 1943 (Naruse-scripted) Himetaru kakugo? Based on the content of the film (and my dictionaries), I'm guessing that something like "Hidden Resolve" or "Unsuspected Strength" might be appropriate. But I wonder if there might be some better possiblities?
