Sorry this is a late answer, but been away from my email for a few
weeks...

Another way to get onto film archives is via the FIAF directory. Here is
the link to the NFC,
http://www.fiafnet.org/uk/members/Directory_.cfm?Lg=UK

... and it includes direct contacts for Okajima Hisahi and Tochigi Akira.
As I'm sure you know Akira is the one you need to speak to about getting
prints; although I know he is often overseas and hard to catch - O'm
chasing him myself at present (... Good old fashion faxing tends to work
best with the NFC).

If the link doesn't work, just put Tokyo into the directory search engine.

Dear Kinejapanners,

For various reasons, I need to contact someone at the National Film Centre
in Tokyo, but I don't have a number for them and when I've looked at the
NFC website, the "contacts" section, but in Japanese and English, rather
unhelpfully says "under construction."
Can anyone help me with this maybe, to dig out a contact I can approach as
I have a few questions regarding exhibitions I'm helping put together for
next year.

Thanks

Jasper
