The name 曲谷守平 is read as Magatani Morihei.
His  女獣 was released 1960 (19 August, according to JMDB).  
It's 77 minute film that also stars Sugawara Bunta.
The title is really "Woman-Beast," but it's about a female detective.
And recently available on DVD, it seems.
