Sakagami Jiro

[Aaron Gerow]

This got lost in all the news about the quake and the tsunami, but the great comedian Sakagami Jiro passed away the day before the quake. As a member of Konto 55-go with Hagimoto Kin'ichi, he ruled variety TV in the 70s, but also appeared in a lot of films, most memorably in Oshima's Taboo. I talk about more on my website:
