Just noticed Wakamatsu borrowed ("inconsciously"?^^) the voice from Jonouchi's Gewaltpia Trailer for his intro of "Sei no doro". Weird thing is Sei no Doro seems to have been released before the Jonouchi flick (maybe Jonouchi re-used it from one of his previous works? seems he was often changing soundtracks for each screening)

don't know if interesting names can be found in those Sei no doro credits http://www.jmdb.ne.jp/1967/cq002700.htm
(what's that APU MEGURO STUDIO ? http://www.jmdb.ne.jp/person/p0361280.htm )

Objet: WakamatsuPro sound editor?

A tricky question, has anyone informations about a potential regular Wakamatsu collaborator who may have assist him regarding the sound design/mix departement? (A kind of Hideo Ito)

WakamatsuPro's relied heavily on groups/composer who offered pretty great songs/theme, but regarding the specific "sound/voice" departement, Wakamatsu doesn't offer a lot of perspective (When being asked about his use of sound .. he described its style as being "inconscious" .. well ...). We all know Wakamatsu views, so i wondered if there were some little-known regular collaborators/assistant "behind the scene" (WakamatsuPro's Birth Control Revolution being partially shot in VAN Institute and displaying an impressive opening sequence with amazing echoes & sound FX ... i wonder if he employed some people from there? Same "distorded" voices can be heard in VAN's Gingakei). Takechi's Daydream also feature great experimental soundtrack from '64, seems pinkeiga was an interesting field for these kind of new "sounds".

One more question:
As for Adachi's Abortion/Birth Control Revolution, were they screened on same theater circuit as usual pinkeiga? They offer very little flesh sequence! (and apparently received help from a Planning Center). Same question for Wakamatsu's Ranko, which looks like an Yamatoya film-noir, and feature little sex sequences (they are more the kind of sexy interludes with some ironic effect)
