Oh No...I can't believe what a shock this is...one of my favorite Japanese Actors. This is going to take a while to sink in.

In what will be a great loss for the Japanese film world, the actor Harada Yoshio passed away today. He was only 71 and still producing great work.

He's mostly been playing grandfathers recently, but a Harada grandfather was unlike any other grandfather in Japanese film.
He will sorely be missed.
