That is a shame. His presence in a film was always a positive factor, and his talent showed through even in small roles. RIP.

In what will be a great loss for the Japanese film world, the actor Harada Yoshio passed away today. He was only 71 and still producing great work.

He's mostly been playing grandfathers recently, but a Harada grandfather was unlike any other grandfather in Japanese film.
He will sorely be missed.
