Wada Atsushi (http://codocodo.com/wada/) won an award at the Ann Arbor Film Festival yesterday. It was for two animated films he made. They really where pure delight! You can get a sample here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4KSaRQ6wr0

AAFF also showed the work of Kurosaka Keita; Jonathan Hall was here to interview him, but Kurosaka decided to stay in Japan after the earthquake struck.

One other Asian film took an award: Huang Weikai's Disorder, which took the Michael Moore Award for Best Documentary.
