Hani Susumu

[Alexander Jacoby]

That Midnight Eye interview was conducted by Rea Amit and myself two years ago, 
though - which can be a long time for a man in his eighties. Still, if he's been 
around in public more recently as another response suggested, he probably is 
still sprightly. He certainly seemed so when we met him.

He was interviewed by Midnighteye, so i guess he's still well. Sent him mail/fax 
for an interview but never got answer though (~last spring)

Does anyone know what kind of shape Hani Susumu is in these days? He's now 82, 
and I"m wondering if he's capable of international travel and, to put it baldly, 
coherent discussion of his work. 


Anyone seen anything of him lately?
