Dear all,
As we have already mentioned, Oliver Dew and I are organising a two-day symposium at Birkbeck College, University of London, entitled ‘The Art Theatre Guild of Japan: Spaces for Intercultural and Intermedial Cinema’. The project is meant to celebrate and coincide with the ATG season at the BFI Southbank in August and the Theatre Scorpio season at Close-Up Film Centre in July.
We have decided to extend the deadline for our Call For Papers to 8th June 2011, so you still have time to send us a proposal! E-mail an abstract to atg.symposium at gmail.com
Although all details will be announced in due course, we thought it might be a good idea to let you know the events that will surround the symposium so you can plan your visit accordingly.
