ACAH 2012 academic panel on 3/11

Minna Valjakka, a Finnish art historian, and me are planning to put
together a panel and apply for ACAH 2012

The topic would be recent catastrophies in film and other arts. Minna
is currently working on graffiti in East Asian cities, I would look at
recent films dealing with 3/11. We would be especially eager to get a
Japanese scholar in our panel, esp. one who would present on 3/11 and
the nuclear accident via visual/audio-visual arts and practices. If
you know such a person, contact me off-list.
