The Yamagata Documentary Film Festival's Daily News team is looking for a
volunteer to translate Jap-Eng during the festival (Oct 6 - 13).
Please apply if:
English competence is native or near native
Can translate Japanese writing into English
Can attend YIDFF for more than 4 days
Is interested in cinema or film festivals
Better if you can attend some meetings in Tokyo beforehand
The Daily News team can offer 50,000 yen remuneration and book a weekly
mansion room (which will have to be paid by self = around 3,000 yen per
night)
Also promises an intense and exciting experience at YIDFF
There will be paid work for those willing after the festival, when we
publish a comprised (bilingual) report of the festival.
The Daily News, is a daily news bulletin at YIDFF. It is being refurbished
this year, with a new editing team and more pages.
It is still run by volunteers to the festival.
Those interested please contact Tsuchida Tamaki, editor-in-chief for 2011 at
mail at tokyo.yidff.jp .
