The Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival is urgently looking for volunteers to help simulcast recordings for films to be shown in the program.
At YIDFF, all films are shown bilingually (Eng-Jap), either using subtitles or simulcast recordings.

Volunteers are needed IMMEDIATELY for:
Translating and narrating from a prepared dialogue list while watching the film on a TV monitor in a Tokyo recording studio.
There will be a small remuneration.
Japanese to English translation comprises of 80 percent of our remaining work.

Films will be chosen from the Cuban program, the 60s-70s TV documentary program, and films about Yamagata.
As the festival opens Oct. 6, you can imagine this is pretty urgent.
