This coming weekend is the last weekend in our series of Japanese period film screenings at Yale. Friday night will feature Ito Daisuke's Diary of Chuji's Travels and Saturday Yamanaka Sadao and Ishida Tamizo. On Saturday there will be a symposium on Saturday featuring David Desser and Itakura Fumiaki.
If there are any students interested in making the trip to New Haven and are looking for a graduate student couch to sleep on, let me know and I can see if I can hook you up with someone.
