[KineJapan] Matsuyama Zenzo

The film director and scriptwriter Matsuyama Zenzo has passed away at the age of 91. Starting as an assistant director for Kinoshita Keisuke, he became well-known for his scripts for Kobayashi's The Human Condition, Naruse's Yearning, etc. He also directed such films as Happiness of Us Alone. His wife was the actress Takamine Hideko.
