[KineJapan] CFP for AAS 2018 panel on Kurosawa Akira

Dear KineJapan members,

I am seeking the participants for an AAS panel on Kurosawa Akira.

Kurosawa Akira is one of the most filmmakers with film adaptations. His
films have inspired many directors all over the world. They created the
transnational dialogues because he adapted many foreign books and many
filmmakers have learned from Kurosawa Akira's films for their own movies.
Therefore, I organize the panel "Cross-Culture Kurosawa: Literary Cinematic
Adaptations as Transnational Dialogues".

If you are interested in this topic, please send the title of your proposed
paper, an 250-word abstract, your affiliation information to Le-Na Dao (
