Aaron is giving a talk on Page of Madness, which he wrote a wonderful book
about. He’s the indisputed master of this film’s complex history. He will
be appearing with benshi Kataoka Ichiro and live music. Kataoka’s setsumei
is as thought provoking as Aaron’s take on the film. Both completely
changed how I understood and appreciated the film. If you are in Tokyo,
this is definitely worth checking out.
