[KineJapan] : Tetsuya Mariko Retrospective

Dear All,

If you are in the Boston area during the coming weekend please do consider dropping by the Harvard Film Archive for the Tetsuya Mariko retrospective. It will include his amazing early 8mm work – an extremely rare opportunity – and his recent films. The latest one, Miyamoto, just came out last year and has won a lot of prizes, making it to #3 on Kinema Junpo’s Best Ten list (and Ikematsu Sōsuke nabbed Kinema Junpo’s Best Male Actor award for his lead role in the film as well).
