[KineJapan] theatrical release of 祇園祭 outside of Japan

I was also asked the same question by Ota-san, and showed her this newspaper page from the Honolulu Star-Bulletin from February 18, 1969.

Even without getting the full view, you can see there is an ad for the film showing at the Nippon theater. 

More needs to be done to figure out where else it showed and what happened to the print(s).
