Dear Everyone,
I've gotten intrigued by the film Listen to the Sea God (Sekigawa Hideo
1950). I'm wondering, first of all, how he got this past Occupation
censors. I realize it's an anti-war film, but it's depiction of the
soldiers' bravery and bonding seems that it would have raised alarms. I
hope I can find out more about this film - certainly will try once I can
get back to Japan.
