Dear Aaron,

I appreciate you sharing this news, I hadn't heard. Steven was a great
scholar, and I always admired his work, and its accessibility. I only met
him once, at an SCMS conference many years ago, but he was warm and
friendly, and left a very positive impression. I offer my deepest
sympathies to all who knew him better.
