To answer my own question, I can also book to watch online (£5).The viewing conditions then are :-
Available until 16 Jun 2021. You will not be able to view the contentafter this.
Once selected, your film will become availablefor viewing following its cinema screening in Sheffield and remain available in your library for 10days. Once you press play, the watch window begins and you have 30 hours towatch the film. ...
you must be located within the UK to watch films on Selects. If you are notlocated within the UK, you will not see a watch or play button onSelects.

Dear All,
The programme for SheffieldDocfest has been announced https://sheffdocfest.com/festival/2021/explore/film-programme?page=0. Considering one of the curators is now Japanese, I can’t find as manyJapanese films as I hoped. There is:-
DoubleLayered Town / Making a Song to Replace Our Positions https://sheffdocfest.com/film/double-layered-town-making-song-replace-our-positions by Haruka Komori + Natsumi Seo, whichsounds like it might be called a fictional film,
and Hara Kazuo’s MinamataMandala https://sheffdocfest.com/film/minamata-mandala,running at 6 hours, 12 minutes on the final non-competition day, 13th June.As it’s a Sunday, the first train from London would get me there an hour late. Doesanyone have the experience to say whether watching a mere five and a quarterhours at the end would make a rational viewing experience ?
Roger
