Roger,

For a mad filmmaker like Kazuo Hara, doesn't a mad dash to a seemingly
distant place seem more appropriate even if it is less desirable.

Anyway, those of us stateside will be able to view the film through the
Japan Society's virtual screenings from June 4 - July 2. Its series
"Cinema as Struggle: The Films of Kazuo Hara and Sachiko Kobayashi" will
celebrate the 50th anniversary of Shissho Productions, Hara and Kobayashi's
independent film company, with a complete retrospective of their work.

The Japan Society is currently screening three sports films in honor of the
anticipated (?) Olympics thru May 28th, and will also stream Obayashi's War
Trilogy from July 9 - August 6.

I believe all these streamings are restricted to the United States.
