The actor Nishida Toshiyuki passed away on October 17th, aged 76. 

He will be most remembered for the Tsuribaka Nisshi series (FIshing Nut's Diary, 1988 - 2009). I like his collaboration with the director Yamada Yoji in Gakko (A Class to Remember, 1993). He was always himself, I would say, but he was very good at that. Rest in peace, and thanks
