Dear All,

I'm sharing a request about Yamazaki Hiroshi's Heliography. If anyone can
help:

My name is George MacBeth and I’m an editor and film programmer based in
Berlin, working for e-flux.

I’m writing to inquire about how best to go about obtaining the
distribution rights for Yamazaki Hiroshi’s extraordinary short film
Heliography (1979) for a public screening as part a small screening series
entitled 10,000 Blinks due to take place at Filmrauschpalast, Berlin on
December 11, 2025. The programme will bring together short films which
employ aleatory strategies of movement in contemporary cinema and film
history.

We have since reached out to the Japanese Photo Museum; however, they told
me they do not currently have a print in their archive. Would you be able
to place me in contact with the right person to approach for a DCP screener
that we could show at the event?

I look forward to your guidance and hope to bring this iconic film to our
audience.
