Attraction of moths to light

This reminds me -- don't forget there are other ways to "skin a cat". 
(BTW, anyone know the origin of that saying?)  Many moths that don't 
come readily to light will come to other attractants (pheromones, 
fruit/beer bait, carcass bait, etc.  Sounds like a major project to 
me!!
