I am interested to know if anyone has encountered Everes comyntas
(eastern tailed blue) in Florida during tha last few years. This
species is very rare here, even in the panhandle where it would be
expected to be more widespread. Believe it or not, there are currently
no known populations in the state. Any assistance in locating the
species in Florida would be greatly appreciated and help us to
understand the ecology of the species in this region.
Best,
John
