Not knowing what state you are in.  There are several states in the East that
are wholesale spraying "Bacillus thuringiensis" to try and control the gypsy
moth problem,  the product is also being used by some states and county
vector control groups to control mosquito.
Check with you local state agency to see what they are doing, and what they
are spraying.  This is the best way to eliminate that fear.
i have a couple of acquaintences on the east coast who are rearing Saturnids
out door and state spraying known to them have caused problems.
 Unfortunately there is nothing they could do about it.
