Hand pairing papilionids

Greetings:

A student in my lab is beginning a project concerned with the mating
behavior of Battus philenor, the Pipevine Swallowtail.  We would greatly
appreciate any tips or guidance on hand-pairing these butterflies from
any one who has done this sort of thing with B. philenor or other
butterflies.  Thanks very much.
