In view of the shortage of Wall Browns (Lasiommata megara) in Hertfordshire, it was good to see 12 of them (along with a Small Copper, Lycaena phleas) between Snape and Aldeburgh , Suffolk, TM428581 on May 20th. Also a Green Hairstreak (Callophrys rubi) on Dunwich Heath, TM469681 on May 18th - does this count as a late record in this peculiar season? Michael Healy
