Butterflies in Ramsey Canyon, Cochise Canyon, Arizona

The following butterflies where observed on a hike today (29 May) up
Ramsey Canyon from the Preserve headquarters to Hamburg Meadow:

Present in great numbers aand mudding along the creek:
Leptotes marina (Marine Blue), Epargeryeus clarus (Silver-spotted
Skipper), and Adelphia bredowii (Arizona Sister).

Other species noticed:
Battus philenor (Pipevine Swallowtail)
Papilio multicaudatus (Two-tailed Swallowtail)
Eurema mexicanum (Mexican Yellow)
Celestrina argiolus (Common Blue)
Euptoieta claudia (Variagated Fritillary)
Phyciodes mylitta (Mylitta Crescent)
Nymphalis antiopa (Mourning Cloak)
Vanessa virginiensis (American Lady)
Limenitis arthemis (Red-spotted Purple)
Cyllopsis pyracmon henshawi (Henshaw's Satyr)
Thorybes pylades (Northern Cloudywing)
