This message is from Rebecca Ceplecha <jranch at gwtc.net>, a First Grade Teacher from South Dakota, USA.

I found some fuzzy brown caterpillars outside and would like to keep them alive for my classroom. They are around 1 1/2 inches long. They are brown in the middle third and black on the ends. They have 3 pair of legs and 5 pair of suction cup type feet behind them. What might they be and what should I feed them? What should I keep them in, and what else do they need?
