Late UK butterflies.

I spent this Sunday 19th October in the Winchester area (Hampshire UK). The
weather was exceptionally warm for this time of year (low 20's Centigrade).

Unfortunately I didn't see any Small Coppers (maybe next week?), but I did
see several Brimstone's (Gonepteryx rhamni) a couple of Small Tortoiseshells
(Aglais urticae) one Peacock (Inachis io) a Small White (Pieris rapae) a
Large White (Pieris brassicae) and a possible Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta).

I think that is quite a good number of species to see in the UK in mid
October. It looks like summer is rather reluctant to go away doesn't it?

Well I'm not complaining ;-)
