butterfly/hummingbird garden

I am looking to establish a butterfly/hummingbird garden as part of
Community
educational project. I will donate the seed , land and the software to
design and implement the project.
Any ideas on educational materials for the school to use ??
Also would like to establish a tagging program on the monarch butterflies
Types of plants, companion plants etc.
Located in Sw Wisconsin Zone 4b or 5a
