Actually the Banded wooly bear caterpillar has another formal common name: The Isabella Tiger Moth. The genus has also changed it is now known as: Pyrrharctia isabella. I also dont know about the luna moth, In Canada it is dirt common, in the right season I get between 1 and 10 a night and I have heard reports of over 200 at a light. Jason J. Dombroskie
